Swiss
folk metallers Eluveitie have announced the release date,
artwork and tracklisting of their forthcoming release, Helvetios.
A
statement on the band's
official website announced that the new album is to be released on
February 10th 2012. Consisting of a whopping 17 tracks,
Helvetios is set to be Eluveitie's biggest album yet. The
tracklist is as follows:

Heidevolk
have also announced
a new album, to be called Batavi, due for release on March 2nd
2012. The new album is a concept album about:
“the
early history of the Batavian tribe: from its beginnings to its
daring revolt against one of the greatest empires the world has ever
seen”.
Several
other bands have announced new recordings as well. Slough
Feg
have announced
a live album, Made
in Poland (date
TBA),
while
Celtachor
have begun
recording a new demo EP to be released shortly. Italian band
Folkstone
have announced
their intention to record a new album, due on March 16th
2012. The band are self-releasing the album and are currently taking
preorders to fund the recording.
